This Saturday December 14, 2013 is the 25th Annual Christmas at The Fairmont -Dining with the Chefs. This gala benefits local culinary scholarships by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Kona Kohala Chefs Association.
Twenty top Hawai‘i chefs and confectioners use primarily locally sourced ingredients to prepare tantalizing cuisine—all accompanied by handcrafted ales, wines and 100 percent Kona coffee.
Cafe Pesto Hilo Bay‘s Chef Casey Halpern will be attending and making Bacon Wrapped Hamakua Mushrooms for the event.
Attendees will enjoy all you can eat, drink, and a souvenir glass. The event will also include live music under and exciting on line bidding of unique items and a silent auction of exclusive, private dinner parties, and receptions professionally hosted by local chefs.
The event will be from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Grand ballroom at The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii. Visit Christmas with the Chefs for ticket information.
